Fixing brake and fuel lines to the chassis?

I assume as long as both lines are well secured to the car (p clips) I'll have no issues come MOT time? I can't reuse the standard plastic clips as the new line doesn't fit into them. Just want to be MOT legal :p

There isn't anything available off the shelf and machining clamps would be stupidly expensive lol

I'm going to make alloy plates that screw into the original plastic clip positions and mount the rubber lined P clips to them. Avoids drilling holes all over the place.

Dude, I may have some alloy P-Clips left over that would do the job beautifully
