Changing to the black can really change heat transfer. Especially considering the large area an intercooler has.

Heat shield round the back of the intercooler may slow/stop heat absorbtion? A lot of effort by that stage though

why do you think that every vehicle radiator ever is black? think about it. manufacturers of cars research this stuff. intercoolers are only made shiny so they look cool, makes people want to buy em.

That is from light. Intercoolers are well hidden and all of these points are explained in the bid.

I watch MCM a lot, along with Roadkill and some other bits from motortrend. I highly rate Roadkill, very funny and totally improvised whereas them two MCM boys can be a bit annoying at times
