What do you want from a bike? Not a great bike if your mates are on bigger bikes, best craic ever if there's a few of you.
None of my mates own bikes lol they're more into cars.
Is it possible to fire a pillion on these or would it struggle?

I've been 2 up on mine, but there is a combined weight warning sticker. Me + missus is fine. Me plus a'normal' sized mate is over the limit. Bike still went dead on though with either combo.

Don't get me wrong, these wee things aren't slow. It's give even a sports 125 a hard time. I'm yet to get a race against an R125 or CBR125, I reckon I'd have them.

Seems perfect for me to be honest. Firing around on the weekend and short trips to the shop. Rather than paying more for a big bike up front and maybe needing to put it through MOT etc. also since I've never been on anything but a 125 and only for my CBT and exam, a msx for a few years would be a wiser idea than a 600 lol

I really can't fault the bike, apart from the sh1t suspension, but if you don't know any better, then you'll not care. Rear shock is just about OK, but the forks are pretty bad at bottoming out under little pressure. Fork kit and Ohlins rear shock will be bought next year.

The most fun for me personally is wringing the absolute neck out of it.

They are so much fun around b-roads holding the throttle constantly wide open whilst leaning through the twisties.

Momentum is key!

How badly are these affected by sidewinds etc? My memories of a 125 was getting blown all over the road on a windy day. Are these even more unstable with the small tyres? One of the things I like about the bigger bikes is the extra stability. I'm also a bit concerned at 6 foot tall I'll be too big for the thing! The cheap running costs do appeal from a man maths point of view!

Saw a load of you out down by the titanic quarter on these. Look like a lot of fun... I had to have a closer look so I overtook a crowd of you and one gave me the finger :worried: not cool lol!

O yea loadsa of us wear full leathers lol. 70mph is still 70mph lol

Lol! Each to their own.
It's not speed that makes me put on my leathers though, it's the likelyhood of highsides and lowsides, which are virtually null on these.

They're not powerful enough to pose a serious highside threat and there's not enough tyre to get over far enough to risk catching a lowside.

I've slid the rear a few times but that was on the ***** Vee Rubber tyres. Very predictable though.
