All due respect to Ronnie for his efforts here but, I'm failing to stay interested.
Correct me if I'm wrong, you make a selection back in Feb / March and that is it for the entire season. No changing drivers or teams depending on who you think might do well in relation to the up coming circuits. Maybe you have a hunch or have heard a rumour that may affect a teams performance and you wish to change your line up accordingly. Maybe a driver drops out and can't finish the season, and you want to replace him. I think it would be much better if you could make a selection before each race. It might even make the actual GP more watchable, if only to monitor your selections. For example the only time I was remotely interested in watching soccer was when I had a fantasy team in work.

(This is not sour grapes because I'm down near the bottom of the tables)

Yes you make your selection at the start of the year and you're stuck with it for the season.
No changes can be made to your team drivers, engine and chassis or joker race (one poor guy picked Germany and it was dropped from the race calender this year). In F1 rarely do drivers change teams mid season so it's not like football where players can be bought or sold during a transfer window and it is impossible for teams to change engine manufacturers because the F1 rules don't allow it and the cars chassis is designed round their engine and the fantasy league rules reflects this.

Team selection at the start of the year should be base on who you think is going to do best and gain the most points for the year and balance it all within the budget or as DW did, went with his heart and stuck with the Mclaren Team hoping Honda power would destroy the opposition but ended up destroying his hope of ever getting off the bottom of the RMS league.
