Looking a point in the right direction. Need someone that knows about k-jetronic injection on a 1980s escort rs1600i, is there anyone local?
Thanks

It's absolute dung. It gave nothing but bother on my RS turbo.

You should try some of the VW guys as some of their cars have a similar system.

It would be well worth contacting Joe Power at TDR in the South, he knows his way around K Jet. You still on the original twin coil setup?

whats the problem? I had to spend a while figuring it out on my 924 but am now fairly familiar with it.

is it fully mechanical k-jetronic, or with the Lambda or KE-Jetronic?

If your needing any parts this guy is worth a shout. He was very helpful and sorted out a lot of things for me a few years back, when I was working in a car I had with mechanical fuel injection.

Cheers for the replys. Problem is car is very hard to start, won't idle on its own even when warm. It's a proper garage queen which doesn't help. Really want to leave it with someone to sort out properly.

Thats KE-Jetronic. As it wont idle hot OR cold, that widens up the number of possible problems! Cold no idle or hot no idle on their own are fairly common. How long has it sat without being started?

Those look more like coated fuel lines

Same fuel lines been on the car for 20-30 years. Car has been stored for most of its life only 8k miles on it totally original
