@KREMER Great entry and looks well seeded. Seems to be done properly with previous results and not that debatable ranking system (its a good idea but I don't think its a perfect system). Looking forward to getting out again. Should be good

Well done @KREMER and the rest of the NUCC for a great 1st Targa. Think it's safe to assume everyone loved the forest tests. We could have stayed in there all day. Plenty of fast, sideways action where it was safe, and clear obsticles to slow us down elsewhere, that could be seen in plenty of time. The gravel didn't seem to suffer too much either.

Well done to @ka88 for getting the car sorted and making it out, and good to see @John_MK5 out again for the craic.

Yep couldn't fault it. 2nd forest test might be the best I've ever done.

@KREMER make sure and get that spring in the Astra sorted haha

Yeah, fantastic event and the forest tests were great.
I got the clean run I wanted but OMG was I feckin slow.
Got to get a few more bits sorted with the car and hopefully get a bit more confidence in it to push on.

Thanks @DavyC , @Liam Shaw and @FM155 for the good comments, think everyone did enjoy the forest tests, have only heard good things about the whole event. @DavyC there is a very good base on those roads, thats why they stuck it so well. @Liam Shaw new spring and 2 new drop links fitted yesterday

They had some good 'new tests' last year so here's hoping the move to an all new venue / group of tests works out for them this year. Fair play to them for keeping the entry costs down too!.. Cheapest of the year so far.

The rumor is that 6 or 7 of the tests will be at one site which if true would keep road miles down

I don't really mind the road miles, keeps the event running along and when you turn up at a test there's only one or two cars in front of you. PMC event was a good example.

For anyone with a comp licence or who is thinking about getting one, the Trials Drivers Club are running a multivenue style event in Arklow, Co Wicklow on August 28th. As the event will not be on the public road, the car will not need tax or mot but must be in presentable condition. How did everyone find the MADMC targa last weekend?

Aye good. Especially test 2 and 5 I think.

Only problem was the speed bumps should of been lifted on 6. Something was scrapping badly over the 2nd one. They claimed a few driveshafts too.
