Quick mot question

[Rover Repair]

Really weird one here, have a car where the bulb warning light is showing but every light, every bulb, reverse, brake fog etc all are working correctly.

Will the car fail an mot with this light on despite everything working?

All the other light indicators or fash, main beam, full beam, fogs, indicators etc all work fine.

Probably a bulb on its way out, had this on an e60 a few weeks ago but on its obc it said front left parking bulb, was still working ok though.

I wouldnt say it would fail though once all the bulbs are working.

It wont fail as long as all the lights work, had this problem before and wondered the same myself, MOT tester didn't seem to care what the bulb check on the dash said

Have you combined stop/tail bulbs or separates? Combined bulbs can often touch and cause an error.

just replace the bulbs they are prob ready to give up.
