I'm considering soda blasting the underside of a car, but I've never painted the under side before, so actually dont know the order!

so once its bare metal i think its

etch prime
seam sealer
high build primer
Colour
Stone chip? (is there such a thing as clear stonechip?)

Or do you just use black stonechip, and put that straight over the primer?

I persume if you use clear coat that'll all just chip off.

Any recommendation on brands and products to use as well?

Same, however After searching the www on the process I've seen a few that put seam sealer on after, I thought it was strange

Any builds ive seen have been primer first then seam sealer.
Have no idea why though, perhaps the sealer wont take to bare metal as well as the etch primer would.

Most sealer usually states to use a primer first to aid adhesion. On mine I went primer -> seam sealer -> stone chip -> top coat.

If I was doing it again I'd use epoxy primer instead of the Bilt Hamber Electrox that I did use.

For stonechip I used Upox Gravitex which was fine, but 3M bag sealer seems to be the best now.
