Headed down to a very foggy Kirkistown with @PhilM in his newly rebuilt wee Starlet last night ..... so I'll just leave this pic here and let him fill in the details below.

Ill add a few more pics after the weekend when Ive had a chance to have a sort through them.

Class wee car, even in its current state, but when its mapped and running the boost he has planned for it, it will be a serious bit of kit. I couldn't get over how light it was and when combined with the R888's, massive brakes and BC Coilovers it makes for a really well sorted drive.

Ah the turbo tin can.

i think @davecoupe was surprised when i pushed it gently out of the garage with hardly any effort!

I was.

You leaned against it and it nearly rolled into the BMW halfway up the drive.

I've almost misjudged that garage exit a couple of times now.

I'll keep at it until I do some damage :grinning:

I'd love another starlet/glanza as a daily. Still look class 20 years on.

What power are you planning to achieve when it's mapped?

Something above standard will do grand :grinning: 140hp ish¿ Who knows

Couldn't stand one as a daily, but enjoy rolling it out of the garage now and again.

Looking good phil.. But i seriously dont think your aiming for 140 lol Even if you doubled that it would still be short :grinning:

well i might make 165bhp or so, but then i would need :

front mount intercooler/cut front bumper
Bigger exhaust
Bonnet scoop from a Gt Turbo

Cheers @davecoupe nice pics!

Very enjoyable days craic. And the car is in one piece despite a wee scare when I lost the gears lol

Pleasure to talk to @RickyMcG and to meet Simon mcD in the Porsche.

I'll maybe need my own 1wd class next time lol

Big thanks to Ian for lending me his old helmet and giving me great advice leading up to the day.
