E46 Tourings - Daily & TrampDrifter

bought this for a daily.. went from a thirst 530d to a bora.. but once you have a taste of msport.. theres no going back..

anyway

needless to say i love it..

full bmw service history.. with genuine factory towbar

car is in imaculate condition inside and out.. credit to the last owner.

plans are.. on the deck with Parallel wheels and it will serve me as a daily

few pics with a friends m5eplica the day after i brought it home











and a ghey instagram spec pic in larne





then it was rim choice... and there was only one choice for me.. hate them on common e39's but a different touch on a e46



oul yoke takes 4 wheels we buns



and a test fit.. with 265 tyres on rear and 225 on the front..







and a better angle to show how well the offset/width is working out




anyway tyres no use.. allways knew that so off they came



new vs old.. 265 and a 205



had 4 new tyres fitted on this morning before work...



coilovers ordered
spigot rings ordered
longer bolts for awfull offset ordered
wheels being referbed tomorro..

Very nice. That e60 looks fantastic too on those wheels too.... very subtle wheel choice.

Did you need to rebore the parallels to fit e46 o always though e39 had a smaller centre bore or did these come off a e38?

Silver grey? Looks real nice. Undecided about the wheels in the pics but I'm keen to see how you make it work.

E39 has a larger bore just a set of 2.99 spigot rings needed

M5 replica did make me laugh though.

after a bit of faffing about with the wheels its finally sorted and ready to serve as a daily

first thing to go was the awfull roof bars







then a test fit with the new tyre choice.. and no roof bars



wheels also came back from the blasters





plenny of primer later there flat ish











coilovers turned up.. nothing but the cheapest gack known to man.. its only a 320d after all lol



then a poplular motorfactors in ballyclare stitched me on price of the hyundai drop links.. but needs must at that time of day







all done and complete.. megga love for this car

Very little has happened just turns out its was a fantastic buy and a fantastic daily

Only real change was a us front plate strip and wheels, eventually mot'd dispite doing 20k un tested



But i fancied a change 18s were starting to look lost so the standard mundane bmw choice,,, x5 wheels

Ive sense sold the x5 wheels 5spoke x5 wheels are eventually gona be its replacement when theres a few other we touches being done,

Could never sell it, mrs will take ownership if anything lol
