Indicator Lens Tint

I've new wing mirrors on the way next week and I'm intending to tint the indicators at the same time.

Can anyone recommend any specific spray etc that would be good for the job?

Not just stick a bit of Laminex over them?

I used ETECH light tinting spray on my MX5. Got it off eBay for about £6.

Light dustings and don't go mad, it doesn't look too dark but it's easy to go OTT lol

You may find it hard to get aerosols posted from the mainland these days :-(

Id use something like lamin x (many cheaper alternatives available on eBay! )

If you have some abrasive polish and go through lighter grades the spray tint will come off. Obviously helps if you have a DA or orbital polisher.. just don't burn your light

I don't even wash my car, never mind polish it .

Stuff like above would do your job I guess.

Lamin x is dearer but along the same lines.
I did an old bike headlight with lamin x and it was handy enough!

Never tried TBH, can't be that hard though? It's just sticky backed plastic

I thought it would be easy to apply vinyl to the chrome grill on my Octavia- it turned out to be a nightmare!

For £5 I could give it a go.
