This is cracked on my car it's an S3 8l, leaking water on the passenger side of the engine, it seems like it's the water temperature sensor I've removed along with a few other pipes, I searched for "water temp sensor housing" on eBay but can't find anything, anyone any ideas or better still does anyone have one ? Bolts onto the side of the engine with 2 x 10mm bolts

It's just a coolant flange, the thermostat housing on an 8l s3 is below the alternator and looks completely different.
