2008 rmz 250 motox

After selling my ek4 and the banshee i took the notion to get myself a scrambler.. After a bit of searching i found this..

Its a 2008 suzuki rmz250 4 stroke, it has a few extras such as excel rims yellow anodised levers renthsl fatbars and front forks with ohlins internals.! But after getting it home and getting a proper run out on it i realised that 3rd + 4th gear where slipping and getting a false neutral.. I contacted the previous owner and of course 'it never done that on him' was in 'mint' condition and he wasnt 'paying for somthing i had broke' Long story short... I sent it to russells in cduff and £1400 of big end and gearbox rebuilding i now own a mint condition bike
Since the rebuild 2 weeks ago i have purchased new plastic one industries/rockstar sticker kit and seat cover, handgaurds, full service kit including.. X12 oil filters, millers oil, air filters, front n rear sprockets,chain few spare clutch levers..

Wheels are getting powdercoated black next week and new hinson clutch and cover on the list

Take off the red bull can, especially if you are sticking with the rockstar graphics.

Anyway, Suzuki are well known for the gearbox trouble plus private sale you where never going to get anything once you handed over the cash.

Get yourself a Risk Racing sprocket, O Ring chain and some ARC levers. Those chains are awesome, and cause very little wear on the sprockets, the front brake lever from ARC has a small roller in it for a fantastic feel and application of pressure on the brake and those Risk Racing sprockets are just porn, but also great at pushing the dirt out of the way with the grooves between every other tooth...

Yeh ive heard about suzuki being renouned for gearbox trouble myself.. But it had to get big end too.. Rings,Valves,crank,bearings,cylinder head relined etc.. what pisses me off is the fact that he sold it as 'MINT' condition Obviously knowing wat was up with it.!!

Well just me and a few of the mates allowed out on it atm.. We have 3 bikes and banshee quad.. Guna talk to him and see if he'll rent it out to us because i would love to build a proper track with few jumps.! Where you from lad?
