2012 Vw Polo 6r, Are the headlight bulbs h4 or h7??

I was told they where h4 so ive bought these.. hoping they are the correct ones

Autobulbs seem to say they're H4 so you should be fine.

It depends on the trim level, you can tell looking at them, if you see two round reflectors in each headlamp then you've H7s if you only see one more oval shaped reflector then you have H4s

Also when driving at night, if you dipped beam looks like it goes off when you put on the full beam then you definately have h4s

Only ever replaced the H7 dip bulbs in these but AFAIK the H4s cover the DRL (daylight running lights) and main beam.
EDIT: Think H4 is actually right depending how povvo the car is. Pull the bulbs out and see for yourself. Easiest way.
