Astra H central locking deadlocked - doors won't open

Just took the car as a p/x. 2005 astra club 1.6

Central locking button inside the car does nothing. When key is turned in drivers doors it only unlocks the drivers door (no noises of solenoids or anything from any other doors). Lock/unlock button on the key does nothing. Doors won't even open by the inside handles. Boot won't open.

Can anyone shed any light? Any help would be much appreciated.

Put the key in the ignition, put the ignition on and press lock/unlock on the key. That dosent program the fob but puts an existing fob back into the correct sync.
