The Buggy Ireland Championship has been announced for the 2024 season with two visits to Ireland’s fastest circuit, Kirkistown, a new purpose-built track at Bishopscourt Airfield, Enniskillen's St Angelo and another venue for the all-important final is to be introduced.

Starting on Easter weekend of Saturday March 30 at County Down’s Kirkistown the championship, with lots of support from the likes of Karcher Ireland, Three One Solar, Goldspeed/ Riddell ATVs, Casmat UK & Ireland, MV Racing, Yacarcross Ireland, NeillPics, Holeshot Racing, Labase Ireland, RX01/SX01, LDR Buggy Hire, WillPromotion, Gordon Automotive and Trailertek will run under a permit of authorisation.

Events will span to November before a championship prize-giving and spectators will be welcome.

Organised and promoted by WillPromotion, Events Director William Neill said: ‘𝑇ℎ𝑖𝑠 ℎ𝑎𝑠 𝑏𝑒𝑒𝑛 𝑎 𝑙𝑜𝑛𝑔-𝑡𝑖𝑚𝑒 𝑐𝑜𝑚𝑖𝑛𝑔 𝑎𝑛𝑑 𝑤𝑒 𝑐𝑎𝑛 𝑛𝑜𝑤 𝑝𝑢𝑠ℎ 𝑡ℎ𝑒 𝑛𝑒𝑤𝑠 𝑜𝑢𝑡 𝑡ℎ𝑒𝑟𝑒. 𝐼𝑡 ℎ𝑎𝑠 𝑏𝑒𝑒𝑛 𝑎𝑠𝑘𝑒𝑑 𝑓𝑜𝑟 𝑎𝑛𝑑 ℎ𝑒𝑟𝑒 𝑖𝑡 𝑖𝑠 - 𝑎 𝑓𝑢𝑙𝑙𝑦 𝑑𝑒𝑑𝑖𝑐𝑎𝑡𝑒𝑑 𝑐ℎ𝑎𝑚𝑝𝑖𝑜𝑛𝑠ℎ𝑖𝑝 𝑓𝑜𝑟 𝑏𝑢𝑔𝑔𝑖𝑒𝑠 𝑡ℎ𝑎𝑡 𝑖𝑠 𝑠𝑢𝑟𝑒 𝑡𝑜 ℎ𝑖𝑔ℎ𝑙𝑖𝑔ℎ𝑡 𝑡ℎ𝑒 𝑝𝑜𝑝𝑢𝑙𝑎𝑟 𝑙𝑖𝑔ℎ𝑡-𝑤𝑒𝑖𝑔ℎ𝑡 𝑚𝑜𝑡𝑜𝑟𝑠𝑝𝑜𝑟𝑡 𝑜𝑝𝑡𝑖𝑜𝑛.’

The format will be sprint-based with crosskart buggies set off at intervals and timed over a course. Times will be totalled, removing the driver's worst time of the day, to find a winner both overall and in categories. Regulations can be found and entries submitted at www.buggyireland.com.

Entry fee per round is from £150. Entries will have to be submitted in advance online before deadlines and, with starters limited, drivers are encouraged to act fast to not be disappointed.

With decades of event industry knowledge, WillPromotion has successfully organised car and bike shows and live track events to also become promoter of the Buggy Ireland Championship. More info can be found at www.buggyireland.com and www.willpromotion.com.
