Please find for sale a wooden dash trim (nussbaum-wurzel / burr walnut) surround for the E36 Saloon and Convertible.
This is the section of trim that surrounds the gear shift right up to the on board computer area.
The photos have been taken to accurately show the condition of the item, which is excellent. The photos clearly show the few scuffs that are on the veneer, however these are minimal and when fitted to the car, aren't that noticeable. I've taken the photos in direct sunlight to show them clearly.
The felting around the gear gaiter and buttons is all intact. All fitting brackets as shown are intact and un-broken.
It's very rare to find a second hand item in this condition. Most are removed with screw drivers, which cracks the veneer and many are chipped or scored beyond use. This also breaks the fitting brackets which causes squeaks and poor fitting. Not an issue with this item.
An easy part to replace for any DIY orientated person, as part of an interior refresh or restoration.
I have recently priced one of these new from BMW at over £500.
Just to clarify this is for the Saloon or convertible model (note three window buttons on the right hand side).
