Can anyone tell me if the block on the Pug 1.9 is the same as the 2.0 HDI engine?
I have the older LDV Pilot van (2001) with the 1.9 Peugeot in the longtitudinal position. Will a 2.0 HDI conversion be a simple one? ie; engine mounts, sump, flywheel and clutch possibly, bellhousing. The exhaust and wiring will obviously need work but will the rest fit ok?

Yeah engine mounts should be the same, bit of ****ing about with regards the clutch setup but the major problems would be the wiring. Exhaust be easy enough to sort.
Check out pug306.net i think someone has doen it on their.
