Power issues.

Ok thinking of getting a seperate battery for my ICE install that i am curently building,

What would i need?? i have a decent battery from my dads old skyline install he had is it a case of running a big cable from the possotive to the posotive and finding a new earth in the rear??

what about the alternator? could the standard clio one handle this??

youll need a split charge relay afaik

std. alternator should be ok as you only charge 1 batt. at a time i think not sure though
