Seat Leon Cupra 4 V6???

Afternoon all,

Spotted the following car for sale here in Spain which looks interesting let us say... Only thing, I've never heard of one before!

It claims to be a 2001 Seat Leon Cupra 4 2.8 V6 with 4x4 - is it real??

Here are a few pics:

Looks like a normal Cupra but I have to say I'm loving that back seat setup and certainly sounds the biz

yes they exist!

VR6 engine and Haldex 4wd.

Was never officially in the uk, but do exist!

As above, never came to u.k but were sold in Europe.

Essentially the same as a 4mo mk4 golf.

Nice vid Marc. Oh this is all rather interesting indeed.

As much as I love the R32 Golf there is something much more understated about that (and Leons are everywhere here)!

Here is the other motor I was thinking about having a look at - an original Opel Manta i200 in Astro Silver:

Unfortunately though I've ruled the Manta out as it would be a pain here to park. The underground parking place that I have is very tight and right beside a pilar which I've managed to tear the back quarter of the ZX out against, hence I need something smaller and preferably with power steering

I followed one in Cyprus a few years ago while I was on a moped but couldnt tell if it had been rhd converted though. Cupra bodykitted before the facelift arrived.

assume same setup as mk4 golf v6 4-motion - 204bhp - but a lot better looking!
