This was yet another random purchase for me ............. spotted it in England, it was a good price, I had nothing else to drive at the time so I went over to get it.
Having owned 2 EK VTi's before, I knew what to expect of the car but was still pleasantly surprised. The EG shape Civic is slightly lighter than the newer EK models, and I found that even in standard form this Civic was as quick as my modded EK's had been.
Bodywork was excellent all round and unlike most EGs now for sale, there was absolutely no rust on the rear arches. I didn't mod the car at all but held onto it for a few months and used it as a daily driver; as to be expected with Hondas, there were absolutely no problems and the car impressed me with its handling and smooth but rev-happy engine. It was also very easy to run.
Now gone to a very happy owner in Cork!
