1.8 20v turbo wanted asap!!

On the subject of engine codes mine is AQX any difference from the AGU? Just for future parts refrence really

The aqx has a small port head but came with a ko3s turbo. The agu came with a ko3. Also I think the aqx had a fly by wire tb. If I'm wrong someone correct me

The AQX had a K03 as far as I know.
And different coilpacks possibly as well.

Yeah I knew the coilpacks are different had to replace one recently, ofcourse it would have to be the dearest ones 57 quid a pop

Leon cupras can be had cheap, comes with AUQ engine so 180bhp same as octavia vrs plus they have the 312mm brakes, 6 speed box etc, remember seeing a few going for around £1500 recently. I wouldn't have thought a safe 260bhp would be hard to get from them with bolt ons and a remap.

Nothing really wrong with it, been sitting for a while and needs a rear caliper but its been well looked after, I just don't have the time.
