4 x100 bolt out hub to 5x100

Young chap asked me about this recently dunno where he was looking but if i understood hes seeking to put 5 x100 vw /seat rims on a 4 x100 jap hub he reckoned that there maybe a convertor available his hubs have the old style out face studs not the modern bolt type and wants to keep the old style hang the wheel on and fasten on nuts ..anyone

I’ve ran adapters for 4x100 to 5x100, 5x100 to 5x120 and to be honest, those are on the cheaper side. If it’s a Toyota, would a hub from the original 5x100 car (celica for example) be a straight bolt on?
There’s no real way of doing it cheap and being safe.

£60 a pair is about as cheap as you'll get without going second hand.
