sounds more like then its jumped a few teeth bent valves and then they stuck another belt on it in the hope it might not be too bad/get running :worried:
Well time will tell. I'm really hoping the heads are fine as that's needed for my forged engine for my car!

Got the car back on to the summer wheels and gave it a good clean after a trip down to Dublin airport and back

First time seeing the car on both Coilovers and the 18" wheels. Unsure whether to bring the back up a touch or bring the front down a little. Think it needs 5-10mm whichever way I go.

Parked far away from everyone else in Forestside (Other than a new Passat which parked across two spaces). Removed a trolley lying beside my car after I parked incase it blew into it, I was giving off about people leaving trolleys about to the missus when the Passat driver returned and maybe presumed I was giving off about his parking (he gave me a really dirty look) as I took the trolley to the trolley bay, nipped into the butchers to get something for the BBQ and returned to find the trolley back and sitting inches from my car and the Passat gone. What an absolute clown! Thankfully no damage but what's the point in stuff like that!

The world is full of crazy people doing the most ridiculous stuff, or losing the plot and going full falling down over absolutely nothing. Especially if in anything even remotely nice. Best to just ignore them and keep your head down...

Looks pretty good to me. Perhaps up a wee bit at the back, but hard to tell from those angles. Very little in it if it needs anything at all.

The sensible side of me agrees, it's just about fine on speedbumps at the minute without scuffing the bumper

There's a bit of me that wants it just right on the floor though too :joy:

I think another 5-10mm on the back would likely work

Shame it has arches with internal lips or I'd be able to space the wheels out a little more at the back

Used to see a huge amount of them in Canada, brilliant for the snow.

Some goodies picked up on my way home. Need to get rails for them, and possibly transfer the passenger occupancy sensor. Thankfully my car being a Japanese Import doesn't have airbags in the original seats to worry about

The damping on the suspension has always been really difficult to adjust at the rear. The fronts are easily accessed from the engine bay, but the rears are hidden behind trim, so I ordered some 200mm extensions

On removal of the interior trim, I noticed the tops of the shocks pushed right into the bracket for the rear lashing points, which I find a bit of a poor design having them sit so high on Tein's part

I trimmed some of the bracket off to fit the extensions, but realistically, they probably need trimmed even if you arent fitting these.

This will definitely make adjusting the rear alot easier
