Not sure if there is a thread like this on here, or if this should be in Car Chat, but here goes

We all have goals in life, whether that be get married, have kids, buy a house, pay off mortage, go travelling etc etc
But what are your Car/Driving related goals in life? They can be anything car related, but lets keep it realistic.

My main ones are

1. Drive my car (whatever car I own at the time) on the Nurburgring Nordschleife
2. Tour europe with the GF/Fiance/Wife (whatever she is at the time :p) and some of the great driving roads
3. Own a V12 car, probably be an 850csi
4. Own a V8 car
5. Own a V6 Turbo car
6. Have/Drive a lightweight british car, such as a caterham seven or the likes
7. Have a dedicated track car at some point in my life
8. Own a porsche 911
9. Break the 300bhp barrier (hopefully soon)
10. Drive on the autobahn at over 175mph

So what are yours?

Own an Escort Cosworth.
Drive a Ferrari.
Have a triple garage.
Learn some mechanicing.

Used to want to own a Ferrari, but not overly bothered now given the prospect of maintenance costs.

Carefully
1. Own a nice double (heated) garage with lift.
2. Have a great daily while having an equally great project / weekend / show / track car.
3. Buy another Cosworth for keeps.
4. Own a car previously owned by Jenson Button

Those are all my more realistic wishes, I'm sure like everyone I could think of 20+ (y)

With my line of work I have been very fortunate to drive alot of supercars, such a special feeling and one I don't think I will ever become ungrateful over.

I also drove route 66 in April and that was another thing ticked off my list :grinning:

Remaining items

1. Own a mint condition totally standard e36 m3 evo coupe in estoril blue with silver leather and wood.
2. Learn abit more about hands on mechanics
3. Drive across europe
4. Detail a veyron

My biggest achievement is the fact I have made a business out of my biggest passion, everyday I am surrounded by things I enjoy and people that mean alot.to me, cant ask for more than that. I have worked on so many interesting things over the years and its given me so many experiences I will never forget :grinning:

1) Do the Nurburgring in some kind of performance car, RWD ideally
2) Own and maintain a decent track car
3) Own and tune an R35 GTR
4) Have a long term project car which I can rebuild from the ground up, every nut and bolt - an immaculate Datsun 240Z with a tuned RB26 swap has always been my dream project but I'll happily practice on a Supra :p
5) Have enough £££ to have a few collectors items in the garage - E30 M3 Evo II, an original Mk2 Escort, etc.

Think I'd like to build a sleeper, either a Golf or a K11 Micra. Other than that keep my MK5 mint and continue to drive the doors off the MX5

Edit: Oh and get a 4.0 XJ, facelifted one and keep it immaculate.

I've really very little in the way of automotive ambition. 99/100 times I stumble across my next car quite at random and with very little thought lol

Have a 2 car garage and a lift.

Continue to have a RWD in my possession, preferably turbo and jap.

Own a Mk2 escort, it doesn't even have to be a rallycar but still, realistically it would have to be a very long term project.

Do the Donegal International Rally (sitting is possible, sitting in a mk2 is highly unlikely and owning a rallycar and driving it isn't even remotely possible).

Wow where do i start?

The "never going to happen unless I win the Lottery" dream is owning a Ferrari F40 (how anyone would pick any other Super Car over a F40 is beyond my comprehension and id like to think of myself as being fairly open minded but on this there is NO debate)
Followed closely by owning an ex-works Peugeot 306 Maxi
I want to build a car as im forever buying someone elses creation - Evo 200 is what im thinking
Get back into competing at motorsport - with my move to the states its probably going to be drifting
Although not directly linked to an actual car but still car related - having Autolifers as a successful car blog on an International scale (StanceWorks or a mini Speedhunters)
Getting the Dimma to exactly what i want it to be.

All listed in order of likelyhood
