Right so here we go again with the Bedford needing an engine out repair and the Viva sorted after dubshed we had another project lined up

But after a tip off from @vw1500 about a cavalier needing a bit off work and another project we don’t need we raced up and bought it

it’s a 1978 vauxhall cavalier mk1 1.6 rwd very similar to the asconas and mantas i used to own

thanks to @southsky sunrise for lifting it

at first glance it looked pretty solid and only needing a few small welding patches ask @Graham he was up earlier this week so off the trailer and i was told it ran and drove

after discovering a broken rotor arm we got it running tho not idling

so it drove in to the shed and we started the poking with screw driver that has become the normal

i knew the passenger sill had a bit off rot

but holy ffffffffff

Fair play, that's quite a project, but in most hands it'll have been scrapped. Good to see stuff getting another chance (Even if you'd have to be a bit mental to commit to that!)
