If it's not lashing down and I'm not too hungover I'll be taking a drive up.

I'm fancying a sunrise blast up the coast as it's my last weekend home before heading back to work again so may as well get some more miles on the GR

If your headed up the coast via Larne I'll come a rip in the Cupra!

I'm leaving home at about 5.45am mate, making sure I get a good event blast out lol.

You're welcome to join me, sunrise is about 7.10 so hoping to be well up the coast for that

What a great day that was, good to see so many cars out and about again! Almost felt like the start of summer with the sun out!

Great to catch up with everyone as always 👍🏻

Agreed, only see half of them, if that. Either at work, holiday, or hungover :p

It’s a good 90 minutes drive for me, and the turnout is very hit and miss. So I can’t usually talk myself out of bed early enough on a Sunday morning to make it.

Do you not enjoy driving the Boxster? 90mins is a wee short jaunt, plus it was both dry and sunny, perfect for a wee convertible.

I took just over 3hrs to get there this morning and loved every mile of it!

Love driving the Boxster. Don’t enjoy getting up early 😀

Wasn’t dry this direction, poured down from last night into the morning.

was a good turn out, and they do a great coffee! The drive there and back is part of the fun :joy: at one stage I was thinking the defender would have been better idea, the roads from Portglenone to it were muddy :joy:

I agree, sometimes it’s nice to just go for a long drive. Especially if it’s a nice road.
I left Blackheath at 12.20. Had lunch in Portrush, then drove home via the coast and got home at 4pm!

Would have loved to get up in reflection, state of the roads at the minute also put me off a bit.

Complete anxiety every time you go out at the moment, it’s like automotive Russian roulette.

What’s that song ….. “ better days are coming “ 😂😂

I hope so anyway as I have a couple of garage queens needing a few miles.
