Hybrid at a car show..... Fail IMO.... Was planning on heading to this but the forecast put me off going...
Don't like the way ford is heading with the new stuff at all... Everything else looks good though

I passed the car park earlier and 5 blokes were pushing that electric Mondeo, not great advertising really!

Some really nice cars indeed. I was there in the Cortina - it's in the background of one of your pics above. I'm sure the Ford brigade were snubbing my car since it was probably one of the "rougher" ones there.

I spoke to one of the main men after the show because I missed the handing out of the finishers awards and he asked me my opinion on that Mondeo and I told him it was ok but nothing particularly special in terms of design when you consider how good the new Mazda 6 would look sitting alongside it!

I also told him it would have been nice to see one of the new Mustangs there and he said they'll maybe try and get one for next year.

It's the only new Mondeo in Europe, so therefore rather valuable it's a pre production model made for press photos and advertising. It apparently has no running gear

The thing is the new mondeo is already a year and a half old, as it has been on sale in the States as the Fusion

Sorry about that if I had known it was yours I would have made sure of getting a picture. I always try to get pictures of RMS members or friends cars. As you probably notice I have a fondness for the 80's models and anything with a Fiesta badge on the boot

Thanks yea thats mine needs a good buff, the wheels done and the previous owner has made a balls of touching in stone chips, but all in all it's not bad for a 7 year old car

Never worry dude... I'm the same. I only took photos of the stuff that interested me too. Loved the Postman Pat van but I thought that was somewhere over in England.

It was really funny hearing a guy being interviewed saying all the new cars at the front of the stage will never be classics because there all plastic lol

Was good to see ford themselves out in force.. Other brands in the country should take note..

Jumped in the new psni road safety car too and had my eyes opened.. Hard hitting video.. Esp when the kid was asking for there mummy and daddy to wake up

Story goes the fella got the shell cheap and had a low Mileage crash damaged escort td sitting so he went for it.. It's a very cool daily to be fair
