Reckon I covered 110 miles on track throughout the day.
By about 5 o’clock everyone had gone home leaving myself and a black ep3 which turned out to be Chris Smiley for those that follow btcc left. (Obviously the Marshalls had to keep the blue flag out to get him out of my way).
I was definitely one of the slowest cars and drivers there but I had a great time getting a feel for driving it and scrubbing the new ad08rs in. Hopefully they still have a lot of life in them as they just got better and better as the miles went on them.
I was apprehensive about running ebc yellow stuff pads on the front but although I wasn’t being absolutely 100% hard on the brakes I had no issues throughout the day with fade and the pedal still felt perfect on the drive home after. Obviously 125bhp and 1080kg isn’t too hard on the brakes.
When I get a chance I’ll have to assess how much tyre and pad life was used roughly but I’m hopeful it will be little being a small light car.
It used about 33 litres on track all day which is amazing at around 14mpg for those that care.
All in all if nothing major goes bang it’s shaping up to be a great fun cheap track toy which is exactly why I bought it.
