Looks like a great package. Would be nice to see something like that with say 256gb onboard. Would save need for cards and at least you could get a full days F/R recorded without fear of overwriting it for those who are on the road a lot

But these new 360 cams look very interesting too of one could be integrated into the car well.

Yeah I like the over all package with the K1S @stevieturbo hard-wired into the car, with the control box hidden out of the way.

Yeah having some built in storage would be good, but mem cards are super cheap and I've loads of the stuff laying about.

They are cheap in small sizes, but ultimately just not big enough.

32gb for 2 cameras on HD will only be around 2 hours each ? And would be better if they took full size SD cards...Micro are great, but a ballix to work with and easy lost.

Or as said, 360 cam mounted in the middle of the car somehow....these things look superb.

Theres a cool system about for HGVs - been using it ourselves - basically with the positioning of multiple cameras it gives a birds eye top down view of the vehicle - which can also be used as a parking camera as well

That happens every time on my walk to the shopping centre up the road, along the dual carriageway. Half the inside lane always subsides in heavy rain, and the inevitable splashing is like a tsunami all the way across the pavement into the shrubbery on the other side, lol. Carry the umbrella horizontally there! :grinning:

A lot of things could be read into that story, it does sound like he was playing silly-buggers himself too before the incident.

But obviously no reason to use a lorry as a ram, or being stupid yourself...

Thankfully no injuries...

Interesting there have been no prosecutions at all, though the lorry driver lost his job. Seems to me both of these two drivers should be sent on an awareness course at least, to change how they approach driving.

He also had to be taken to hospital with neck pains, lol - in an ambulance! After following the lorry all the way to the depot :grinning:

Still no excuse for the lorry driver though.

"I honestly thought I was going to die," he wrote in a police statement.

"My life literally rushed before my eyes. Whilst that sounds dramatic, I can honestly say I have never felt fear like it. I began shaking uncontrollably."

Yet he didn't appear to take any evasive action. Even when the lorry looked like it was hitting him he still wouldn't move over.

I agree there is more to the story than what we see & both drivers need help/advice/fined/points/prosecution.

Edit: Ah, sorry, just realised - yanks...

Still, lucky not to kill someone, or themselves...

But as we all know, neither were speeding, so the police dont care !!!

Next someone will kill and injure multiple people after collapsing behind the wheel of a bin lorry....and not be prosecuted for anything either.

Oh wait..

Mind you, dont crash, dont do any harm, but touch your phone and you're screwed.

Whilst on that silly topic of using the phone whilst behind the wheel....and perhaps a little NSFW even if it's hilarious.

I wonder which the police would deem the more serious "offence" here ? If of course they even bother to pursue it.

The Subaru above wouldn't have crashed if he wasn't speeding.

Defend.

The Subaru driver wouldnt have crashed if he/she/it wasnt weaving across all 3 lanes and not looking where they were going. There's little evidence to say he/she/it was above the speed limit, but their driving was clearly idiotic.
It doesnt look like any of the vehicles were travelling particularly fast for what appears to be a motorway.

Simple.

Really not much different to this....if you decide to make big lane changes without using your f'ing eyes....expect a big crash. Doubt they were speeding either.

Driving without using your eyes or brains will always result in a crash, exceeding any speed limits isnt causing them to crash.
