Engine management light

Car is an 07 Ford fiesta zetec s 1.6 petrol.

Driving to work this morning the light came on, no loss of power or anything that I can tell and no reason really for it, shuddering etc.

Anyone had this problem before I know it could be a million and one things though, wee bit annoyed though as I only bought the car 3 days ago.

dealer or private sale? you need to find the fault code

dealer - take it back to him

private - get a wee obd reader and plug it in

The dealer is renouned for bad after service, sort of bought the car hoping nothing like this would happen to be honest, probably not one of my best ideas come to think of it now.

It's probably the kick start giving problems Ffs which is why it still driving fine. NA but in all seriousness it's impossible a to know what the hell it is without plugging it in these days. Could be bloomen anything buddy.
