B&D MC ROUNDS OF IRISH & ULSTER SHORT CIRCUIT CHAMPIONSHIP
With the final B & D event of 2017 on this Saturday 2nd September at Kirkistown, We are delighted to announce that we will be joined on the day by a special guest.
It's been 43 years since Abe Alexander last won the King of Kirkistown for the second time. Abe was one of Ireland's top road and circuit racers in the late 60s early 70s, he won the King of Kirkistown in 1973 and 1974 and was very disappointed not to win the Crown in 1975 when he was beaten by a young up and coming rider by the name of William Joseph Dunlop. Abe's career was cut short after a high speed crash at St Angelo circuit in 1977, thankfully he made a complete recovery but decided to pursue other interests.
Today we are delighted to say, Abe is returning to Kirkistown once again but this time as a guest of the Belfast and District Motor Club where he will crown the winner of the second leg of the Pre-injection race as the 2017 Crown Prince of Kirkistown. We look forward to welcoming him to our event.

If you've nothing planned for the weekend come down to Kirkistown on Saturday for Belfast & District Motor Club's third and final event of 2017.
We've got 18 races including superbikes, supertwins, pre-injection (second leg is our feature race, Crown Prince of Kirkistown, will someone break Andrew Brady's winning streak
), classics and the Young Guns to name but a few, racing will as always be superb.
Entry £10 per person including programme, children 12 years and under free entry when accompanied by an adult.
No extra charge if you're coming to stay on the Friday night in a caravan, campervan or tent.
