Megane 225 Loose Engine Cable

Hi guys,

Is anyone able to tell me the name of this cable? Had been holding it together with tape but the tape had begun to melt with the heat.

The smaller circle in the in the first image is where the cable is detaching.

Here is an overview for an idea exactly where the cable is

Does it run to the throttle body?
Can you post pics of both ends of the pipe?

Vacuum feed to servo.

Edit: it's not a cable it's a pipe btw

Yes will take pics of both ends of pipe in the morning and post them here. On a scale of 1-10 how serious is it that this is detaching?

Unfortunately I'm not that technical either!

if its a servo pipe you will know its detached before you see its detached lol

It goes into the oil breather inlet on the rocker cover, the other side of the tube goes into the throttle body.
Dodgy idle and hesitation/kangarooing if it's leaking I'd guess

It isn't cheap and comes as one big piece, if it's split get some silicone or something on it to seal it up

I just meant some silicone beading, something to seal the hole and keep it together

Slip a bit of tight fitting rubber hose over it with a clip on it, should keep it intact.
