If it's not wizzing down on Sunday might get a race up. Fitted a new front tyre to the bike 3 weeks ago and haven't looked at it since. Good opportunity to scrub it in. What's your new bike?

I'll see what state I'm in on Sunday..... My hangovers are usually 2 day affairs now.

I'd say I'll be in a mild state of death on Sunday too, going out all day Saturday for beer and food with a bunch of guys who are known to drink more than their recommended daily allowance.

Hopefully it's dry though, nothing like a blast on a superbike to cure the hangover.

I hope so, gave it a hard run in 1st after a good half an hour running and heard a pop, looked in the mirror, street filled with smoke, looked down, oil light on, killed the motor and coasted to a stop, looked under the back and the new oil lines have turned to jelly, obviously the line isnt heat rated to requirements, should have left the 10 year old lines on there, fortunately i had a can of oil in the car, let it cool and topped it up, managed to push the line back on and limped it home, pulled into the garage and the line just about to go again. it got HOT, but fingers crossed no damage.

Is it the ambient temp of the bay is turning the lines to jelly or are they an incorrect diameter? maybe thicker wall so less inner dia causing more restriction therefore heat under load? Or just crappy lines?

I bet its hydraulic line rated to 100 degrees, no markings on it for temperature. Ill see if i can get down to pirtek on saturday.
