According to @Cartunes , 1W is enough to keep your battery alive so 2.4W should be more than enough.

Looks like this is back to full price?? @Cartunes you reckon if I had a lorry battery and one of those trickle chargers it would keep life in it? I'm gonna make a booster pack on a trolley with one and would put one of those chargers on if it put a reasonable bit of life into the battery.
