Subaru immobiliser help

Alright guys bit stuck on this my my00 uk turbo I bought with a duff engine now ive replaced the engine I cznt get it to work turns out on these uks you need the key fob ot pin to disable these, I have neither, bummer I know. Is there anyway to bypass or remove these alarm systems

I dont think there is without either a working key or the old pin code, AFAIK subaru uk are the only ones that can sort it for you

Mmmm maybe go down that route gunna have a look and plug in my unlocked jap ecu etc see if I can manage to get it bypassed

If using a jap ecu on your car you will need to swap cam and crank sensor wiring at the ecu. Wont start otherwise. I it's a simple recoding of the key it will need to go to specialist(with dealer software) or dealer

Im pretty sure the 99/00 models have an independant immobilizer unit, its not run off the main ecu. I changed to a prodrive ecu on mine and didnt need to change anything with the immobolizer.

If the car is still using the original key and fob it should start ok.

^^^^ yep immobiliser and alarm is seperate from ecu

Still using key but I didnt recieve a fob for it called a local auto l8cksmith he sorted it for 30 quid
