Just picked this up & get her home today. Probably the cleanest car I've ever bought. Got all fancy stuff like keyless entry, climate control, traction control (is that even necessary?!). Goes well, was quite pleasantly surprised. Quietest car I've ever owned, that has to change. Besides that, I'm quite happy with her. Here she is...

Still have the Skyline also, for now. So the Swift is going into hiding until the Skyline gets sold.

It's a downgrade, but it's a cracker. I always say no mods, but we'll see!

C&C welcome. Cheers!

These are meant to be great fun to drive. I'd say it feels like a world of luxury compared to the liner lol

Looks good lad. The guy I work with has stickers on the bottom of the door which I think is cool. Htd

Nice (y) I had one for a while and I loved it, especially round the back roads. Loved the seats in mine, reminded me of Impreza seats. Even had the same faded sport badge as yours on the back lol

You're right about them being quiet though, a few times I went to start it when it was already running!

Nice wee cars these, looks nice and subtle in black too. I'd almost say this could be more enjoyable down a back road than the Skyline in its own way!

Cracking wee car. You'll be able to chill out now knowing it'll need nothing and will run 100% for years to come. I'm sure it was a bit of a relief!

They say that once you've done a few laps of the 'ring in the Swifts you don't look at them in the same light again lol

Cheers for the comments folks. .. No updates yet, just a couple of interior shots. .. .. The fella also gave me a Sony CD player & facia so I need to get that back in again & need some wiring sorted so the radio works with the hand controls.

Can't stand the radio & I don't have RB25fm any more, so stuck the head unit that has USB & auxilery ports & the facia in that the boy gave me with the car. Gonna get a better head unit with hand control leads etc. & a new facia as that one is a little loose due to broken clips.

There's a few scrapes on my dash but noticed they're just in the passenger airbag cover which peels off! So hopefully get that replaced too.

@chris_b Goes well, quite impressed with the wee thing. Different driving experience than the Skyline entirely but equally pleasant in its own way.

Definitely the cleanest car I've owned. They all have imperfections, this just has the least of all I've owned.

Scrubs up well.

Got a new radio for the swift yesterday. Got a nice wee Sony one from halfords. DAB, bluetooth, CD, auxiliary, USB, handsfree mic etc. Class wee thing. Can set it to any colour and also set it to change colour when you put your lights on lol. .. wired it in for now but off to collect the new facia and hand control wiring later today :grinning:

Side note. I got the ariel for the DAB radio. My mate has his stuck on the windscreen but not fond of that. If I stash it somewhere else does it affect the signal much? Anyone have any experience with these?

A mate of mine kept his induction kit off his old Sport and gave it to me for Christmas so I was well chuffed. So we attempted to fit it yesterday.....

Always noticed there were holes in the honeycomb bit beside the fog only on one side, turns out it's a cold air inlet and is exactly where the cone goes. Thought that was kind of cool... (excuse the dreadful pun).

.....We started the car and she chugged and died a few times. Also tried driving it and didn't want to go anywhere. It worked perfect on my mates sport but not mine :confounded: .... standard box back on for now. The growl is amazing when fitted. A bit of research required and get it back on! Any advice welcome. Cheers!

Sounds like you might have a leak in one of the induction pipes or maybe a lack of gasket on that sensor. A filter shouldn't cause the car to stop running unless its unbelievably restrictive.

Mmmmmmm....... with the water about at the minute i think the standard box would be better option rather than a cone filter down that low.
