The walnut blasting is a great job but you will find it’s something garages tend to shy away from.
1 its a really dirty messy process
2 the time involved if the valves are badly coked up
3 and this is the main issue, every manufacturer on every model of engine will have a different intake port shape. You need the correct tool shape for the intake ports engine you are working at.
4 access to area in engine bay
5 the car engine bay cleanup afterwards
We do some of the MINIs engines and for example BMW have approx 6 tools that i know of maybe more
Your best bet is dealer if they offer the service or a good independent specialist

This will have the EA888 gen 3 which also has port injection, so will not need done. Saw on facebook a mk7 golf GTI in for walnut blasting and the inlet valves were almost perfect2014 Audi S3?
