I am told that fitting a replacement Honda 2.2cdti clutch requires a special tool to pretension the clutch while fitting.

Can anyone recommend a Honda specialist or know of any garage/mechanic that has experience in doing this?

Car is a 2006 FR-V if it makes any difference.

if its any help, some BMW clutch plates from LUK come pretensioned with a throw away tool so nothing special required, maybe a luk Honda clutch might be the same? worth a check

I wish that the Honda part came with the tool but it looks like it s "dealer" only part.
Didnt know if TypeTwo did diesel stuff as well as vtech enabled weapons...

Any decent garage will have the kit for doing it. Doesn't have to be a Honda specialist.
