Just a 1600 with the Greddy turbo bolted on at the minute so in theory it should be about 150bhp. Have a standalone ECU on order, along with an intercooler which it badly needs. Then all i have to find is a set of RX8 injectors. Should be good for 220-230bhp when i'm finished all being well :grinning:

Your Cav wasnt hanging about if that was on low setting!!!

Cav is going really well now. Overboosts to 20psi and holds 14psi. Really puts the power down well with the 4x4.

Roll on Billing!!

Welll this has been laid up pretty much since 2012 when the wee man was born

Two house moves later and now the garage is pretty much done got round to bringing it back out

Sailed through mot after sorting some minor niggles and got stuck into a polish to freshen it up and a fuelab adjustable pressure regulator has def helped with the performance

Last time I saw this I was young free and single! Since married, two kids and mortgage. I admire that you haven't just given in and sold up. Still looks awesome!

Original 4x4 badges are hens teeth now... tbh all the badges are

I had the cavalier and turbo badges picked up brand new at auto jumble for about £10-£12 each

The Vauxhall one was a three year mission and cost a fortune as did new head lamp protectors which I'm yet to fit too... new headlamps are cheaper ffs

Looks great, I'm sure there been a fair bit of work keeping it this clean over the years. I prefer the shape of Cavalier hatchbacks but for the turbo model I wouldn't let it worry me!

A Bordeaux red gsi saloon was first quickies car I was in when I was about 11/12 in the early 90's so always liked em

And a friend gd a black turbo when I started working so always wanted one, had spied this one at audio advice many times but never thought I'd get my hands on it... 13 years now!!

Good to see you still have this.

Sorry to say, but it looks a bit spec'd out at the rear height wise. Was it always that low at the back !?

Yeah it was slightly lower again on the irmscher springs at the back but on checking for mot a coil was snapped so sourced another lowering set and they have actually lifted it a tad believe it or not. As the rear flaps used to catch in and out the garage but now it's clearing. I'd imagine the sound sys plays a part in weighing it a bit too though

Standard springs leave them totally boat like

My nova shell is now lying in the same place as the white one in Collys shed on page 1. He was telling me about this bus last week and I asked was it yours. Class looking Cav and so rare now.

Yeah if I could get hold of other springs I would certainly give them a try out!! But for this summer I reckon I'll just drive away at it unless summat falls into my lap, parts are getting harder to source

I have a set of Bbs 16's I'd like to refurb and try on for a wee change too, set of spacers would def help for them

Would like to pick up a set of 17" speedlines mistrals too
