It's insane that in the text, he thinks there would have been a better outcome if the overtaking car had hit the brakes....ie stayed in the wrong lane for even longer. The overtaking car did the right thing given the circumstances, pass and get back into lane as soon as possible.

2 wrongs would have been an even bigger mess after the Yaris decided to drive into a wall.

The guy in that video could very easily have avoided that incident by simply braking. I love how he attempts to blame the fact that the other car was accelerating and in this somehow explains that he assessed that situation and took the right course of action.

It just proves that too many people panic when faced with the unexpected. It took him too long to react to what happened as well

He drives a BMW. He owns the road, he doesnt need to look.

Although blindspots in some modern cars are terrible, still no excuse for not looking, and being in the wrong lane it would seem.
