Had a great time at this today. Great variety of cars and events, there was always something to see. Shame about the rain burt I was fortunate to get a seat in the grandstand beside the drifting so I waited it out while watching drifting and rallying. :grinning: I hope enough people turn up for it to be ran next year.

If the rain stays off I'll go back tomorrow - taking pictures with a hyper 6 year old in tow isn't the easiest! I was surprised by how few people were at it too, I had seen a decent amount of advertising for a Motorsport event to be fair, billboards, radio ads etc.

Is it on tomorrow? The website doesn't work and the fb page says it's closed tomorrow.

Definitely a good day out! .. Some fantastic cars & the noises of some of those things were savage! Could have sat there all day just with that as a backing track.

At 1st seemed a little quiet, went early and the show wasn't up to much at the time. There wasn't much of a show as such, even one of the girls in the car park asked me did I want to show lol not often people try to rope you in to put your car in a show :confounded: but I politely declined & prayed it wasn't going to be another Kings Hall Special lol .. (Nowhere near it, thank f***!)

Watched a few cars do the auto test, then drifting, which was pretty decent... Then we saw the RS200 flying up the dirt road in the distance & went over to the rally side & stayed there til it rained us out & I really enjoyed it!

Although it was near £8 for a sausage supper & bottle of coke, was nice to have lunch on a bench while watching some rally & drifting & then a few mins later see some parachuters jump from a plane lol .. Was really quite nice. Overall, me & my mates had a really great day just watching some rally classics getting lit & even when it rained it was fun, game changer in the rally! Watched the MK2 Escorts overshoot into the hay bails thinking this is going to be interesting! Fantastic to watch.

Definitely worth a go tomorrow! (but bring a packed lunch) lol

I'll fire a couple pics up later :grinning:

My only bit of advice... Don't cross over to the 4x4 event, you just get stuck there waiting for the rally cross to end.

Down all day, as said grub was a rip off but the variety of rally cars was fantastic, especially when the rain came.

£5 Parking. £5 for a program, with sunglasses! £12 in.

My advice, bring someone to split costs.
