Yeah will save me quite a lot. Have a few colours picked out. Tempted to change colour completely but need to sort out what wheels im gonna go for first.
Very nice base model for you to build on. A bit of cosmetic damage never bothered me, as long as its not rotten, paint is always easy to fix. I always look for mechanical soundness 1st then work on the rest.
All the best with her, looking forward to seeing the progress. Health to enjoy
So took a drive to Mallusk last night and bought an sr20. Came with a horsham developments stage 3 ecu. Missed out on the injectors but will get a set sorted out again soon. Will probably just buy a china spec gt2871 if i want it on the road quick. If not, I'm tempted to do a top mount td06 build similar to rich hudsons.
Will get it cleaned up next week as I've a targa rally in the mx5 this saturday then need to go to Articlave and finish @chopaholic s s15 for him.
Haven't really done much this past while. Been busy with other work which has to be done some times lol. Trying not to spend too much at the minute as i still have customs and vat to pay on the car when it arrives in a few weeks and need to finish paying for a holiday with the girlfriend.. I'm sure that's gonna be a right ass raping so gonna need to save plenty for it. Once that's done Ill get stuck into the car.
Valve cover is just in primer at the minute. Will get a coat of white tonight. Who ever painted it before is a plonker.
Cheers @Nickyyy Aye I'm looking forward to getting it home. Will be a bit different than Golfs anyway lol. Want to keep the mx5 so will probably sell the van if I like the s15.
Decided against white for the valve cover. Found some ford mica black and a peugeot grey - opinions?
Inlet manifold will most likely be the same colour
Got the call to collect the car today. Glad i held out for an import now. After a lick of paint its goona be a fantastic example. Hard to beat a clean fresh underside.
