If its RWD you want, sack off the stupid MX5 idea and get an E36 328i Sport, Diff and 325 Throttle Body etc.

totally agree, just out of the two I'd have a rear wheel drive anything for some crack!

Or the obvious choice vtec could get a decent vti ek for that or a mb6 fast reliable and handle great as standard
