Is this thread for pieces we’ve done ourselves or just really nice stuff wherever we happen to come across it? Don’t think my welding could be described as porn, well maybe scat lol

just some trial runs on a new machine with some old aluminium chequer plate and some practice weaving

That weave is lovely dude.

Chequerplate has to be the worst material in the world for doing justice to a nice weld.

What machine did you go for?

cheers Pete. Yeh, the filler just jumps up onto the raised edges and they were outside corner joints too. Came out better than I thought it would. good practice though.

The 210 in the end, its really good. I've only scratched the surface of its capability but so far its been really impressive.

The presets are a lifesaver when you are jumping back and forth between materials and different thicknesses, hard at the beginning as you have to remember which preset you saved it on, but I'm loving mine
