Kris Meeke getting some game time!

This one deserves to a caption competition. Ostberg making a cuppa tay, Meeke is looking at the team manager as if he's taking mad cow dung and Nagle sauntering into the back of shot

Meanwhile - Trier looks stunning. Love the BestofRallyLive stuff.

Meeke has right rear damage after a spin in the mid-point of the stage. However Meeke says the car is running fine and not affecting performance. He will inspect in the road section.

Ogier fastest so far, Latvala second. Meeke is 8.9s down overall, but it's not a great time loss considering the positions of the rest of the field.

Lively interview with Meeke at the end of SS2: "Ogier complaining about road position? No? I expect not! I knew this stage was going to get muddy...nothing to do..."

Seems the best position was first on the road and after the first two cars, the road got very slippery and grip was at a premium. Great time by Kris all the same - still feeling the frustrations of that early stage one mistake. Goes third fastest.

SS1 update for the NI & Irish contenders:

Moffett - 14th fastest, 2.1s behind Denis Kuipers and quicker than Yuri Protasov

McCormack - 7th o/a in WRC2

Fisher - 4th o/a in WRC3

Boland - 47th o/a

Just hope JML can keep the pressure on Ogier.

Second run through the stages this afternoon will be closer.

Moffett would be best to keep it tidy for today at least, "steady as she goes"!

Yep, off road excursion for Kubica - front suspension damage, rear left damage. Lost 4 mins. Service now, so he might be lucky enough. Never a dull day with Bobby K.

Says he is faster than Ogier on the proper smooth tarmac sections but can't go as quick on the dirty stuff.
