Looks like he has realised at the last minute that's he's heading the wrong way, seen that the road is clear and said **** it.

Yes, thats what i thought. Terrible attitude from the driver if that was the case. It would make me think he does things like that all the time.

Jap stuff
the only positive thing you could take from this is that the lorry driver has got really good visibility of what is coming certainly from his left side anyway.
he/she was very fortunate anyways ... they looked like 'shifting on' through the lights so perhaps chose not to hit the anchors/lock up lorry etc
BTW not condoning ... their actions did not cause any harm thankfully

Anything
All these near misses.... Look like normal day to day stuff to me.

Nobody catch anything remotely interesting on these dashcams?

150+mph motorway fly bys, bikes doing wheelies roundabout drifts etc.

gone from here
lorry near miss, court street over to police station.
if the road was marked like the rest of the country and general lay of 2 lanes into 1, the left lane is generally left and straight on, and the right lane is turn right.
it's just another junction in ards that has to be "different" to the rest.
there should be warning signs approaching town outer limits

That's a fair point , Ards and Bangor seem to have alot of junctions that go against what you'd expect. Though as a professional driver he really should read the signs better (if there is signs ?) but we'll give him that one.

That's a foreign lorry? Yup, makes it better or worse depending on your perspective. Glad one of our drivers wouldn't do this, worried that some EU national's charging through Ards. Massive danger of crashing and causing thousands of improvements.

Could have been a lot worse.

Exact reason why I give up biking, it doesn't matter how careful a rider you are it's all down to luck when the s*it goes down.
