Break out the champagne glasses.......actually, Ahm, on second thoughts maybe don't. Adrian Sutil has been announced as Williams test and reserve driver so they should probably celebrate that with plastic glasses just in case.

Possibly in case Bottas' back plays up again in FP this weekend??

Lol, only took two races into the season to fire up the engine for the first time. In last year's car. Serious contender there :p :innocent:

improved Ferrari engine and beats the Mclaren . .snigger . . :eek:

Seriously though, the true plucky underdogs this season are Sauber and Force India. And Honda! Those are the ones we should cheer on, not a completely and utterly irrelevant sham of a team like Manor. They should never have been allowed in the pitlane in the first place.

Seems like mostly status quo in Malaysia.

Merc well out in front, though a bit worrying with all the engine niggles for Lewis.

Ferrari in good shape, but no closer to Merc. Close behind them though.

RB still struggling.

McL way behind at the back. They will do well just to get two cars to the finish in the race.

A bit random in the rain, with the usual random results when it gets wet and everyone goes out at the same time. Might as well roll a dice.

Lord only knows what Nico was thinking, what an egg plant...

Oh, and Marussia failed to get within 107%. What a surprise.

Honda/McL did though - just :p Boy do they have a long way to go, everything stacked against them too :-#

Marussia will be allowed to run in the race after all, despite missing the 107% limit. Presumably only the one car though, as the other failed to even start in Q1.

In fairness, they were pretty close, so hey, why not.
