Oh aye, I'll be up for that all

Looks a straight example - and how did you find out the build, from the chassis number? I have a mirror of your car at the house albeit a project and it has motorsports.

Do you not mind this car on the galgorm road. Sat at a big house opposite dans road?

I know the owners son David well. That car was never abused. I don't think Austin would of had it in him to drive it hard. That is some buy! Health to drive mate.

With the history and the condition the car was in when I seen and got it I know it had never been abused and that is rare in this country never mindy it Being a m3

So bit off a up date

I have removed whole exhaust, prop, heat Shields and the diff and have unloosen the back alxe so just have the fuel tank to remove next week

And during the week I took the side skirts off to find this on the drivers side

And that whole ended up this size

But I do have a full brand new sill waiting to go in

But today I have removed the whole boot interior to bar metal and removed everything from the boot it's self and have now started on the inside interior

I just have the front seats to remove and then drop the front sub frame with engine

Sorry about the slow update and s*** pics but will have better ones this week coming

Thanks Jay

So the updates/work had slowed down alot on the M3 for few reasons but am back at it with a few good updates

I got the interior pulled out (1st may) bar the dash or interior body loom as they don't need removed and the floor is fairly good

Next up was the engine out (12 July) I decided to remove it with the gearbox still attached as its hell off a lot easier to do

Next up was to strip the doors all down and replace the two front ones as they had a bit off rust between the glass and rubber

Old rusty door

Picked up two really good doors what was harder than I thought

Door looms and handles and what ever else what was in them

Next up was to get ride off the rusty boot lid
image.jpeg

And also removed the diff and shafts

And finally I got the fuel tank remove and emptied the super unleaded into the e34

Fairly solid where the tank was just a bit off surface rust

And the 3 motors together

So just a update on the motor

So got all the brake pipes and fuel pipe from the car in one piece

Car had a we hole down on the drivers side behind the wing so I asked @surprising_skoda if I could borrow the welder etc from work so once he said yes set a day and time for my mate to come and do it for me
20161106_141200.jpg

And he got into some shapes to do it in my we garage lol
20161106_133812.jpg

Next on the list was front and back windscreens so got and friend to come and help with that and both come out in one piece what was great

This is unbelievable. Amazing how a car can look so clean before you start digging. Your a bit of a perfectionist by the look of it!

The way I look at it if your doing it you do it once and the right way then it will last you not do it half job for you to come back in a few months again
