Must be looking forward to a drive.
Yes, absolutely, it's been off the road for around 2 years and whilst I've always had plenty to keep me busy, always in the back of my mind get it back to some form of road worthiness and enjoy it. Will hopefully get around a number of events next year, will be an ongoing project......

Stinking after a 45 mile return home but that’s the majority of work completed

Did it break a spring at the back 😇

That's bl@@dy lovely, well done. They're worth saving now. Rare even back when, can't remember when I last saw one on the road. The Aussies are going nuts for them too.
Yeah, a bit too low at the back, had bought Pedders springs for it a few years ago, think they were the sportsryder springs which are the lowest, will probably change them out in the next few months, take it up 15-20mm. It drives fine, just doesn’t sit quite right yet

Few last unicorn bits sourced with the kindness of a fellow Monaro enthusiast in Oz. Plastic rad cap cover and new label View attachment 413891View attachment 413892

Surprisingly, I could have saved you a bit of hassle and supplied both of these bits all the way from Ballymena!

Fair play for all the work you’ve put into this. They’re worth saving.
It’s the sort of car that gets under your skin.

Hope to see you on the road soon!

Lol, likewise, be nice to get a few together at some stage next year, wish I’d known about the parts 😂😂
